Maruti Suzuki has revealed a new version of its popular hatchback, the Wagon R, with a redesigned and contemporary styling, rich features, and plush comfort.
The new-age Wagon R has always been perceived for its phenomenal practicality and value. It has sufficient head and legroom thanks to its high roofline and smart packaging. The rear passengers are further treated well with rear AC vents and better seat cushioning.
Efficient Engine Options and Smooth Performance
The Wagon R still offers two variants for powertrains: the 1.0-litre and the 1.2-litre petrol engine, now slightly tuned for better fuel efficiency and smoother performance. In terms of powering, a 5-speed manual or an AMT could be had. For the CNG variant, mileage-wise, it ranks among the top in the country, giving CNG mileage that is fairly tough to beat.
Price and Variants
Depending on which variant and fuel type is chosen, the new Maruti Suzuki Wagon R shall set one back anywhere between ₹5.75 lakh to ₹7.50 lakh (ex-showroom). With a fresh coat of paint, interiors with huge space, and all-new bits of tech, the Wagon R remains a favorite of the warranty-conscious who refuse to give in on comfort and conviction in practical matters.
